Bac Luan II Bridge inaugurated

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong attended the event. The bridge connects Mong Cai with the Chinese province of Guangxi's Dongxing City. The bridge runs for 618 metres and is 27.7 metres wide and was constructed by both countries. With initial costs of nearly 14.8 million USD, it is the largest arch bridge in Vietnam. The bridge plays a vital role in promoting trade and tourism between the two countries as well as establishing the Dongxing - Mong Cai Cross Border Economic Zone.
