VTV.vn - Twenty Vietnamese management officials have completed a short course entitled “Public and International Affairs Strategic Leadership Certificate”, held by the Vietnam-Australia Centre (VAC).

On May 24, speaking at an event to summarise the course, Deputy Director of the Academy of Politics Region II Nguyen Dung Anh stated that the participants have been equipped with methods and skills to apply to the leadership and management tasks in their workplaces, localities and life.

For her part, Carol Holmes from the Australian Embassy in Hanoi said it was great to see Australian educational institutions help Vietnamese leaders to be better prepared to deal with urgent and emerging issues.

The course, provided by Curtin University, aimed to strengthen the participants’ core leadership capacity and support them to use new knowledge and skills in their daily work.

During the eight-month course, the students built and implemented projects in various subjects, such as digital transformation, human resources development and leadership capacity, environmental protection and the carbon market.

The VAC is a joint initiative of Vietnam and Australia that gathers both countries’ experts to support Vietnam’s future leaders in addressing national, regional and international challenges.
