The Gala, titled Vietnam – Come and Love, just wrapped up its recording this morning (December 11) at VTV's S16 studio. This is one of the flagship programs of the External Television Division and will be broadcast during the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays on VTV4 and VTV1 channels.
In its first year, Vietnam – Come and Love promises to bring a completely new format featuring foreign personalities. The stories are told in an engaging and vivid way through the collaboration of reporters in the field and two hosts, including the show's host, Rufino Aybar.
This year’s theme is "Vietnam Changed My Life", featuring three stories with three different personalities. On the recording day of recording, December 10, two of the personalities, British artist Richard Fawcett and Indian engineer/TikToker Rahul Kumar, shared their stories and impressions of Vietnam. On the morning of December 11, Kazuyo Watanabe, the founder and CEO of the Asian Children’s Care Federation (ACCL) in Japan, gave an emotional account of her journey to help thousands of children with cancer at the Central Hue Hospital.
In addition to these interesting and meaningful stories, the program also features spectacular performances by artists and guests that underscore the show's theme and message.
The Gala Vietnam—Come and Love 2024 will be first aired on VTV4 on December 31.
