Asian Development Bank helps develop tourism in Vietnam
VTV.vn - On Monday, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a 45 million USD loan, to help Vietnam transform its second-tier cities into competitive tourism destinations and develop their economies.

Phase two of the project is currently underway, helping the Mekong Delta build transportation infrastructure, adapt to climate change, attract investment, and increase the number of tourists in the provinces of Hòa Bình, Nghệ An, Quảng Bình, Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên Huế.

The project will also help develop green spaces and public beaches, expecting to accommodate 168,000 people and 8 million tourists every year.
