The conference gathered over 200 professors and scientists across the country. Over the past five years, 35 projects have been completed, including the assessment of technology application in forecasting storms, floods, and flash floods in the central region and drought in the South central and central highland regions. Several new technologies have been introduced, applying new techniques in preventing and mitigating natural disasters, and protecting riverbanks and sea dike systems to safeguard production and daily life
