The companies were announced at a ceremony by the APEC 2017 National Committee in Hanoi on Tuesday. Eight special sponsors provided 440,000 US dollars or above each. Addressing the event, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, who heads the National Committee for APEC 2017, spoke highly of the contributions made by the sponsors. He stressed that this was an opportunity for businesses to promote their firms, showcase products and establish ties with other APEC businesses at the event.
