The sessions include a meeting of the Mining Task Force and a food safety cooperation forum. The SOM 2 and related meetings will last until May 21. During this period, participants will look into how to promote key cooperation agendas and priorities adopted at the SOM 1 and outline documents to submit to senior officials in November at the ministerial meetings this year. SOM 2 will attract the attendance of the Director-general of the World Trade Organization Roberto Azevedo, ASEAN Secretary General Lê Lương Minh, and officials from 21 countries in the region.
