This year, the event attracted more than 100 wrestlers. To enter the semi-final round, wrestlers have to win three consecutive matches.
Before the wrestling festival, the organizing board runs through rituals in the village temple, which are performed by the village's patriarchs.
This traditional festival has been taking place for over 400 years in order to promote the spirit of sportsmanship, physical training and a lucky year for wrestlers as well as the whole community.
