VTV.vn - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired the online national conference on assessing the results of administrative procedure reforms of the 2011-2015 period and launching plans to 2020.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc reiterated that the documents of the 11th and 12th National Congress considered administrative procedure reforms a key mission. The Communist Party of Vietnam has realised limitations of the administrative mechanisms, such as ineffectiveness, complicated organisation and bureaucracy.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc stated that the State needed to seriously address the result of administrative procedure reforms over the past five years, focusing on the most difficult problems of institutions, public services and salaries.

PM tasked authorities of agencies and 63 provinces to point out the weaknesses of administrative procedure reforms, especially those related to personnel; and to propose resolutions to enhance and facilitate the reforms in 2016 and 2017. Public service quality also needs to improve with the use of E-government.

Hanoi will start to provide business registration through online procedures from September 1st, link all administrative procedures at the ward level and apply E-school reports for students in the city. Quang Ninh Province will build 14 district level administrative centres and continue to develop a website for provincial administrative procedures.

PM asked the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to reply to Quang Ninh’s request to attach land registration offices to district administrative centres.
