On June 5, the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) announced that the group will donate VND400 billion to the vaccine fund in response to the call from the government. The amount also includes VND30 billion that EVN handed over to the Ministry of Health on May 28.
EVN has so far raised over VND408 billion to contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic since late April this year.
*Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tuan Chau Group Dao Hong Tuyen decided to donate additional VND100 billion to the vaccine fund on June 5, raising the total financial support to VND210 billion.
Tuyet noted that the number will continue to increase as he is mobilising more enterprises and benefactors to join hands to contribute to the fund to accompany the government and people the fight against the pandemic.
*On the same day, Trungnam Group also handed over VND23.2 billion to the vaccine fund on the occasion of its launch on June 5.
The group said that it will continue to donate over VND158 billion to carry out social security activities across the country.
