Access to electricity to be improved

This is part of the corporation’s amended business procedure code that came as a response to the Government’s Resolution 19 on improving Vietnam’s business environment. The steps in the application and authorization process will be shortened and simplified. In the first 7 months of this year, over 4,000 customers have connected to EVN’s medium-voltage power lines and the average application processing time was 10.3 days. The corporation is making efforts to further lower the number to just 10 days.
