Aiming to draw viewers' attention to key events and programs commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, Vietnam Television (VTV) has broadcast numerous special programs about Hanoi.
For the Hanoi Documentary Film Week on VTVgo, the production team spent a lot of time reviewing and selecting 20 outstanding documentaries produced by Vietnam Television, the Central Documentary and Science Film Studio, Sao Khue Film Studio - Hanoi Cinema Association, and independent filmmaker Jean-Noel Poirier (former French Ambassador), to premiere on the national digital platform VTVgo.
The Song of Hanoi, an artistic exchange program, portrays the resilient and graceful spirit of the people of Hanoi. It highlights Hanoi as a city of heritage, a sacred land, and a place where the past, present, and future are connected—bridging generations through creativity in the fields of literature and the arts.
In addition, VTV continues to air the film Hoa Sua Returns in the Wind, a simple yet touching story about the people and rhythm of life in modern-day Hanoi. For those who want to delve deeper into the history and people of Hanoi, viewers can also watch documentaries such as Our House, Hanoi - A City of Faith, and Doctor Tran Duy Hung.
Another special political-art program on VTV, titled Hanoi – The Heroic Anthem of the Streets, takes viewers back to the glorious historical milestones. Behind the bright splendor of flags and flowers on the day of liberation were 80 meticulously prepared days by the city's residents.
