A/H5N6 flu found in chicken in Quang Nam province

Over 5,200 chickens have already been burned to prevent the spread. After a report was issued on a possible infection, the local authorities immediately collected a sample and sent it for testing. The sample showed that two flocks of chickens had been infected with A/H5N6 bird flu.

The area was isolated, and the local authorities blocked fowls from being transported out of the district. Chicken farmers are now being advised to vaccinate their chickens and lock them up so they don't become infected.
