For the first time, the government was handed to the people, and so the feudal dynasty in Vietnam came to an end.
After eighty years of colonisation, Vietnamese people claimed independence. To achieve such a miraculous revolution, 5,000 Communist members and millions of people sacrificed for the Party and the people of Vietnam. The August Revolution Victory in Vietnam also supported revolutions for independence in many parts of the world.
The victory was evidence of the Vietnamese people's solidarity, confidence in Party guidance, and a basis of socio-economic development.
