Positive and impressive figures were reported at the event. Vietnamese agriculture grew at 2.55% per year, while agro-exports were around $31.5 billion a year, more than double the previous five years. Rural household incomes have surged from VND75.8 million in 2012 to about VND130 million in 2017.
Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung said Vietnamese agroproduction has shifted towards quality and added value, and the application of technology.
