These results were announced in the 6th working session of the National Election Council on June 8th. National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan chaired the event and confirmed that the election took place with the spirit of democracy, legitimacy and safety. Ninety-nine percent of constituents joined the election. However, the percentages of deputies who are women, non-Party members, ethnic people and self-nominated candidates are still below the requirement.
