The final round will take place four days later, on December 7, at the Crow Center in Diamond Bay Resort.
This is the fourth edition of Miss Universe Vietnam since the first time held in 2008. The semi-final and final rounds of the contest have all been held in Nha Trang, the capital city of Khanh Hoa province.
In the 2019 edition, the crown for the winner will be entitled Brave Heart, the organisers said at a press conference on December 1.
The crown is made of gold and adorned with 78 pearls and over 2,000 gemstones.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 kicked off in January and is one of the main events celebrating the National Tourism Year 2019, hosted by Khanh Hoa province under the theme “Colours of the Sea”.
In addition to activities to show off their beauty and talent, the contestants will take part in activities to promote scenic and historic spots in Nha Trang as well social activities at a local Buddhist temple and school so that they can have a better understanding of local life.
Speaking at the media briefing, the reigning beauty queen H’Hen Nie expressed her hope that the contestants will become more mature day after day, be confident and keep the fire from their hearts alive at each round.
At Miss Universe 2018 in Thailand, H'Hen finished in the top five, the furthest that a Vietnamese representative has progressed at the contest.
