VTV.vn - The 42nd National Television Festival is scheduled from March 19 to March 22, 2025, in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.

The National Television Festival (LHTHTQ) is a traditional event organized by Vietnam Television (VTV) every two years. It allows television professionals to meet, exchange television programs, enhance their expertise, and select the best programs during the festival. The 42nd edition of the festival in 2025 holds great significance for the Vietnamese television industry as it coincides with important national milestones: the 55th anniversary of the first television broadcast, the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the nation.

The 42nd National Television Festival, held in Binh Dinh, will be attended by delegations from various television stations, radio-television stations, and television production units across the country. It will also promote the image of Vietnam as a nation, highlighting Binh Dinh's economic, social, cultural, and historical strengths to domestic and international audiences. Additionally, the festival will commemorate the 50th anniversary of Binh Dinh’s liberation (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025), with several important activities hosted by the province.

To ensure the success of the 42nd festival, with a focus on professionalism, safety, cost-effectiveness, and leaving a lasting impression, General Director Le Ngoc Quang signed the organizational plan for the festival on August 8, confirming it would be held in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh, in March 2025.
