In addition to Nguyễn Huệ and Bùi Viện walking streets in District 1, the Nguyễn Lâm and Bà Hạt walking street route will have a total length of 100 meters with food and shopping set up along the way. However, alcoholic drinks and wet markets will not be allowed in order that the space can be preserved for the people.
It is expected that the street will operate in the evenings, from 6pm to 11pm everyday, meaning that traffic coming from Nguyễn Lâm street will be limited. Currently, the People's Committee of District 10 is finishing up some utility categories in preparation for the launch of the walking street.
