Titled "Nurturing Talents", the film premiered on Friday night at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. The 12-minute production is part of the second Thang Long-Hanoi Festival and marks the upcoming 950th anniversary of the Temple of Literature.
Taking audiences back to 1010, the film traces Vietnam’s journey from Emperor Ly Thai To’s relocation of the capital to the establishment of the Temple of Literature under Emperor Ly Nhan Tong.
The film brings three powerful symbols to life: the sound of a school drum, woodblocks representing the passing of knowledge, and birds taking flight. Altogether, they represent generations of talented scholars who went on to serve their homeland. The film will become part of the Temple of Literature's night tour, bringing Vietnam’s scholarly heritage to a wider audience.
