39th ASEANAPOL conference inaugurated in Hanoi

Addressing the opening ceremony, General Tô Lâm - Vietnamese Minister of Public Security, talked about the challenges facing ASEAN in terms of security and social order.

He also stressed that the 39th ASEANAPOL Conference is a chance to tighten cooperation among police forces in ASEANAPOL member countries in crime prevention.

He urged conference attendees to discuss and come up with solutions to establish effective cooperation in crime prevention, apply laws and regulations, and support each other in international forums.
