This year, the World Food Day's message is "Our actions are our future: A Zero Hunger world by 2030 is possible," and is part of the FAO's mandate in Vietnam.
It plans to ensure food security and nutritious diets for all, which has been an important goal of the FAO since it arrived in the country in 1978. The FAO has played a leading role in the implementation of almost 500 projects in Vietnam that support hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and food and nutrition security. The assistance of the FAO will continue to play an important role in supporting Vietnam to improve its standard of living.
