30th APEC Ministerial meeting opens in Papua New Guinea

VTV.vn - On Wednesday, the 30th APEC Ministerial Meeting was held in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. At the meeting, Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Bình Minh talked about the strength of APEC after three decades of development.

He proposed the members to work towards a strategic vision that focuses on stability, activeness, and prosperity after 2020. He also met with the Japanese and Australian Ministers of Foreign Affairs and New Zealand’s Minister for Trade and Export Growth.

At these meetings, he stressed the need to tighten cooperation and said that he hopes that Vietnamese produce will have easy access to these countries. He also gave the ratification document of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) to the New Zealand Minister for Trade and Export Growth.
