This is the first group of Vietnamese evacuees to be brought home from Poland. Passengers were mainly pregnant women, children, older adults, and those with underlying illnesses. Poland has so far received 2,500 Vietnamese evacuees from Ukraine, the largest number of neighboring countries. The Vietnamese embassy in Ukraine is working quickly to support citizens and bring them home safely.
Support provided for Vietnamese citizens in Ukraine
