300.000 Vietnamese routers vulnerable to attacks

Routers are gateways connecting computers to the Internet. Hijackers made use of the loopholes to remotely take control of the computer's system. These loopholes are named pet holes. According to the research, about 5.6 million routers in the world are left unpatched against Pet Hole, with India, Indonesia and Mexico top of the list. Experts advise that internet users can check whether their routers have loopholes at: Pethole.net. The research also indicates that Pet Hole is even more dangerous than Heartbleed, the most notorious flaw discovered in 2014.
