From September 28, "24-hour Panorama" has adopted a new format developed by VTV Regional Center for Southern Vietnam, positioning the programme as a national news bulletin with a southern perspective. It covers major current affairs, domestic events, new policies, and issues that draw public attention, while strengthening its connection to everyday life in southern Vietnam.
In an era of constant change and information overload, what do audiences really need? “24-hour Panorama” aims to help viewers keep up with the most accurate, timely and comprehensive information.
The programme aims to go beyond conventional news delivery by connecting everyday concerns with journalists and relevant authorities. Together, the noon and evening editions provide timely updates, in-depth analysis and a stronger public voice throughout the day.
The noon edition of "24-hour Panorama", airing daily from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., prioritizes breaking news, public-interest issues and notable stories of the day. Its fast-paced, concise format caters to viewers seeking a quick midday news update.
A new segment, Heartwarming Stories, features relatable and uplifting moments from everyday life.
The evening edition, airing daily from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., has been extended by 30 minutes. The first part focuses on major domestic and international news, followed by more in-depth content and greater audience interaction.
The segment One Story a Day examines a selected issue from multiple perspectives and shows how it affects people’s lives. Through reports, on-location stand-ups, expert commentary, augmented-reality graphics, charts and data, the segment makes complex issues easier to understand.
The "Speak up Together" segment is based on VTV Regional Center for Southern Vietnam’s public information hotline. Through the segment, viewers can submit concerns and reports about issues affecting their daily lives. VTV journalists will receive and verify the information, investigate the cases and connect with local authorities or relevant agencies to gather responses from the parties involved. Viewers can submit information through the programme’s hotline, fanpage, website or QR code.
The "Viewer Clips" segment, meanwhile, receives videos recorded by the public through the hotline, VTVgo and digital platforms. Selected clips may be broadcast and discussed, becoming part of a news flow shaped by direct audience participation.
