2019 Danang firework festival to open in June

The information was announced by the Municipal People’s Committee at a press conference Tuesday.

Teams will come together for competition over five nights themed “Origin,” “Seed,” “Love,” “Colors,” and “Going out to Sea,” which will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television.

The opening ceremony on June 1st will see the competition between Vietnam and Russia, followed by competitions between six other teams from Brazil, Belgium, Finland, Italy, the UK, and China.

The two best teams will compete in the finale the night of July 6th.
