This information was announced by the Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Tourism at a press conference in Hanoi on March 30.
At the festival, through 150 booths, visitors will be introduced to the tourism stimulus programme which includes promotional tours and preferential services provided by the city’s travel businesses, hotels, restaurants, tourism locations and entertainment areas.
During the event, many activities such as the final round of the Golden Voice Festival of Ho Chi Minh City tourism sector, a cultural exchange programme on April 13, and a ceremony to honour 100 tourism brands of Ho Chi Minh City on April 14.
The festival will offer an opportunity for travel businesses and tourism agencies to promote their tourism products and services, contributing to attracting more domestic and foreign tourists.
The municipal Department of Tourism also announced a plan to organise the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2018 (ITE HCMC), which will take place from September 6 to 8, 2018. The event promises to attract 40 countries from around the world.
