20 initiatives for the community honoured
VTV.vn - The Editorial Board of the Communist Review, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour held a ceremony in Hanoi on December 26.

The third contest was launched in August 2019 with seven rating criteria, namely development, target subjects and expected results, creativity, feasibility, sustainability and scalability, cost efficiency, and capacity of the implementation unit.

Through the preliminary and final rounds of examination, the organisers selected the 20 best dossiers of the more than 500 registered to award with prizes, including two first prizes, three second prizes, five third prizes and 10 consolation prizes.

The first prizes went to the initiative “Researching the building of an automation system for Da Nang’s smart power distribution grid” by the Da Nang Power Company Limited and the initiative “Experience in teaching autistic children in an inclusive education environment” by Do Thi Hoang Mai, a primary school teacher in Trau Quy Townlet, Gia Lam District, Hanoi.

At the ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat launched the fourth “Initiatives for the community” contest (2021-2022).

Within the framework of the programme, the Communist Review held a workshop on December 25 titled “Initiatives for the community - Replication and connection”. The event aimed to further connect authors whose initiatives have been highly appreciated with the organisations and individuals who are interested, thus helping to spread the initiatives within the community.
