The event is organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association in collaboration with the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It is held in of several the commemoration of significant national milestones including the 100th anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism, the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, and the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam Journalists Association.

With the theme “Vietnamese Journalism – Loyalty, Creativity, Courage, and Innovation for the cause of national development and defense”. This year’s Press Fair not only honors the legacy of the revolutionary press but also highlights breakthrough achievements and emerging technologies in the media industry.
Each booth reflects a blend of both tradition and modernity by integrating new advancements, such as artificial intelligence, 3D, virtual reality, and holographic displays. Leading media organizations, including Nhan Dan Newspaper, VTV, VOV, VNA, and the press bodies of the military and public security sectors, will present thematic exhibitions titled “100 Years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism: Achievements and Future Trends in the Digital Era”.
For the first time, the Vietnamese Press Museum will curate an elaborate exhibition on the history of journalism. The event will also feature the launch of a special commemorative stamp set honoring 100 years of revolutionary journalism, issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Within the framework of the fair, the second National Press Forum, brings together journalists and experts for 12 in-depth panel discussions on key topics, including digital transformation, AI applications, attracting younger audiences, data journalism, content personalization, sustainable revenue-generating models, and the role of women in media leadership.
Along with professional forums, the event will feature a variety of cultural and entertainment activities, such as the third edition of the Press and Public Opinion Football Cup, artistic performances, interactive media technology showcases, and awards for the most impressive booths.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 AM on June 19 and will be broadcast live on VTV and VOV. The closing ceremony will take place at 3:00 p.m. on June 21 and will be broadcast on Hanoi Radio and Television and VOV.
