Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, and NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung attended this event.Participants of the meeting recalled the success of the first General Election and how it opened a whole new political era in Vietnam. Over 400 deputies have been voted from these 13 elections. Many of these representatives have held important positions in the government.
NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung also took this chance to honour the contributions of the National Assembly throughout the past 70 years. He also called for the NA deputies to continue improving on their efforts and supporting Vietnam’s socio-economic development.
