Xam singing preserved among young music-lovers

Among the various efforts made to preserve traditional music, many young music-lovers have found their own ways to uphold and spread inspiration by performing the music. A group of young artists in Hanoi have taken to performing Xam singing on the street.

Like many other folk music genres, Xam singing is unique to Vietnamese culture and especially in need of preservation. Young artists and music lovers play a vital role in reviving and maintaining traditional music.
