Le Quang Liem be Millionaire Chess Open runner-up
VTV.vn - Vietnamese chess grandmaster Le Quang Liem could not defeat US rival Hikaru Nakamura (elo 2814) at the final round of the Millionaire Chess Tournament in Las Vegas, which was wrapped up on October 13.
As the runner-up of the tournament, Le Quang Liem was awarded 50.000 USD.
LeThe champion Nakamura, who was seed No1 of the tournament and came second in the world ranking, received 100.000 USD.
Earlier, Le Quang Liem entered the final round after trouncing US rival A.Lenderman (elo 2623) 2-0.
