This is the 7th year the event has run, with the calligraphy street hosting new features that have attracted participants of all ages.
Calligraphy is a long-standing Vietnamese art. The characters written on special papers are a symbol of good luck or act as worshipping objects. Calligraphy hung during the Tet is considered a way of attracting luck at the start of a new year.
There are also special customers on the very first day of opening the calligraphy street. The customers are curious, eager to see the traditional ao dai and calligraphy hangings. These young generations will continue to love and preserve the culture and traditions of Vietnam.
