Vietnam Railways will begin selling 330,000 train tickets from September 20 for the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, the company has announced.
Under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 1569/QD-TTg dated December 12, 2024, approving the capital city’s master plan for the 2021–2030 period with a vision to 2050, Hanoi is set to develop 14 new urban railway lines.
The Politburo convened a meeting in Hanoi on September 18 to deliberate on an investment policy for the North-South high-speed railway project, concluding that it is a highly important and necessary infrastructure work.
