VTV.vn - Jobs recruiter Anphabe and market research firm Nielsen Viet Nam have launched the Viet Nam Best Places to Work 2015 survey with extended scale, deeper analysis and new areas of research.

This is the only survey in Viet Nam designed to measure and support organisations to improve their employer brand effectively, according to Anphabe.

Aside from continuing to update career drivers and expectations of working professionals and the latest trends of employer branding, the survey seeks to evaluate the employer brand health of hundreds of top companies taking part in the internal survey (evaluated by employees) and external survey (evaluated by talents in the industry).

A series of indices and advanced analyses will indicate the strengths and weaknesses, as well as risks and opportunities of employer brand management of each company.

According to the 2014 Viet Nam Best Places to Work, benefits rose to the top consideration along with salary as important factors in working professionals' evaluation of potential workplaces.

In order to provide the market with further insights on benefits, Anphabe has developed a questionnaire covering more than 30 types of benefits in the following categories: Insurance, Health & Wellness Benefits; Family Care Benefits; Training & Development Benefits; Working time & Work Support Benefits; Culture Building Benefits, and Benefits in Monetary terms.

Participating companies will receive reports on specific needs for benefits of each talent group, as well as the current types of benefits offered by companies in the market.

In order to help businesses find suitable solutions for retaining talent, the survey this year will also look deeper into the causes of stress which may affect employee productivity and make them leave the company.

Reasons given for stress include work overload, lack of trust in the company, financial concerns for the future, dictatorial management style and unrealistic performance targets, among others.

From findings of the survey, businesses will be able to devise more practical actions to raise the quality of work, upgrade their employees' life and thus increase their employer brand attractiveness.

Thanh Nguyen, CEO of Anphabe.com, said: "Approaching its third year, the survey has captured attention and become the prominent source of information for the human resources community."

Apart from ranking the "best places to work", the survey results will reflect trends in the labour market, including career expectation and motivation of working professionals.

Vaughan Ryan, managing director of Nielsen Viet Nam, said with each advanced employer brand analysis, the survey would be able to set out important standards for both the industry and the overall market, so that businesses can have a more comprehensive view and decide on more appropriate strategies.

The awards ceremony for Viet Nam Best Places to Work 2015 will be held in March next year.
