World Bank supports Vietnam on climate change
VTV.vn - World Bank in Vietnam Director Victoria Kwakwa has confirmed that the institution will co-operate with Vietnam and support the country’s call for funds to mitigate the effects of climate change in Vietnam.
In the meeting with World Bank’s country director in Hanoi on Wednesday, State President Truong Tan Sang also thanked for the World Bank’s support in poverty alleviation work in addition to addressing drought and excessive salinity in the Mekong Delta region.
In addition, Kwawa added that she hoped to improve the efficiency of links between the two sides until the end of her tenure.
