VTV.vn - The World Bank’s East Asia and Pacific Economic Update released yesterday has praised Vietnam and the Philippines for recording the most positive growth prospects in ASEAN with the projected growth of over 6%.

Yet, Vietnam is still enjoying the strongest growth prospects, as the average GDP growth of the region’s developing countries is expected to reach 4.8-4.9% in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Vietnam is also projected to continue its strong growth in domestic demand and manufacturing exports while being strongly positioned to benefit from numerous free trade agreements, especially the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
