The event, which focused on the opportunities presented by the global recovery, took place during the first-ever Vietnamese high-quality expo. This is to help connect Vietnamese enterprises worldwide and share business experiences.
More than 150 Vietnamese businesspeople from countries including Russia, Vietnam, the US, Bulgaria, France, Turkey, Italy, Thailand and Malaysia took part in the conference in Moscow. They focused on discussing the opportunities and difficulties as well as investment experiences in developing markets and business strategies during the world economic recovery. Vietnamese firms will be presented with ample opportunities thanks to several new free trade agreements with countries and regions.
"Vietnam will be in a great disadvantage if we don't prepare ourselves with good knowledge, production and business skills. Vietnamese businesses should pay more attention to production chains, especially in terms of quality and models", Pham Van Hong, Head of Vietnamese Business Association in Italy, said.
"I think the Vietnamese government and businesses should co-operate with each other to build brands. More importantly, domestic businesses with good reputations and potential shouldn't let their brands be purchased abroad to ensure sustainability", Nguyen Van Hoai, CEO of VIMX Bulgary, said.
Greater co-operation between Vietnamese in foreign businesses was discussed substantially by participants at the conference.
The businesspeople also had a fieldtrip to visit some of the businesses owned by Vietnamese in Moscow. The conference has really become an ideal arena for Vietnamese businesspeople from different countries to promote business opportunities with Vietnam.
