Poor people given free running water

The campaign was initiated by the Youth Union members of the Water Provision Company in the province since early March. The action also has received great response from many other youngsters from local governmental units. Thanks to the pipe system, dozens of cubic metres of running water reaches people in remote areas. Soc Trang, like many other provinces in the central region and Mekong Delta region, is facing water shortages due to severe droughts. The situation is more serious in remote areas. This helping hand from the youth union members could not have come at a better moment.
