Lower crude oil price affects state budget revenue

VTV.vn - In some economic news, the global crude oil price has declined to around 40 US dollar per barrel.

It marks a dramatic slump from the previous 100 US dollar per barrel price tag that the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance used to calculate budget revenue estimates for this year. What’s notable is that crude oil export accounts for about 10 per cent of the total state budget revenue of the country.

Experts say that to make up for the lower revenues from crude oil, the government might consider issuing bonds.
