In order to effectively implement the fund, a workshop was held in Hanoi this morning, held by the EU Delegation to Vietnam, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Finance. The Workshop familiarized related parties with the content of the Phase Two Contract, disbursement criteria, and operational modality. Provincial authorities were also given advice on budgetary allocations learnt from experience in the first phase.
The Health Sector Policy Support Program phase Two, themed “Toward Equity and Quality of Health Services in Vietnam” signed in December 2014, aims to support Vietnam in restructuring its health sector and implementing reform plans and programs for the 2015-17 period.
