Digitization could contribute 1.1 percent GDP per year to Vietnam until 2045, according to Dr Lucy Cameron, senior research consultant at the Australian federal scientific research agency CSIRO, at the seminar titled "Science, Technology and Innovation as a Pillar for Socioeconomic Development in Vietnam," held in Hanoi on May 15.
This is a useful seminar for Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and many Ministers to directly consult experts concerning creative innovation, providing more arguments for the drafting of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy for the next ten years.
At this conference, it was affirmed that the Government would create many policies offering incentives for innovation. The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Science and Technology to urgently submit to the Government institutional reforms to attract social resources in science and technology and innovation.
