Vietnamese bananas struggle to enter high-end markets

VTV.vn - Banana farms now make up one-fifth of total fruit farming areas in Vietnam. However, Vietnamese bananas still struggle to penetrate high-end markets.

According to statistics, Vietnam’s banana export turnover reaches around USD$5 million per year. However, Over 30% of Vietnamese banana exports are returned each year due to low quality. This calls for greater attention from the industry to farming techniques.
