VTV.vn - The final round of the 1st Vietnam’s Got Talent Contest in Russia took place on Sunday. 20 performers were selected to the final round from 60 who survived the qualifying round.

20 different acts have made their way to the final round. The judges did not have an easy job and they had to settle on three second prizes.

Nguyen Quang Tung Duong, Second prize winner said: I’ve learned so much for this competition. The prize isn’t as important as the opportunity to be part of it.

While Tung Duong has been practicing modern dance for a year, this fifteen year-old Vietnamese-Russian girl, Victoria Phạm has been playing the piano for 8 years .The two were born and raised in Moscow.

Victoria Pham, Second prize winner said: It was my dad’s idea to send me to this competition. He submitted a tape of my performance in a concert. I’ve been so happy to be here.

Many contestants had to travel long distances to be here for this final round, but they had received much support from the Vietnamese community in Moscow.

Do Xuan Hoang, Chairman, Association of Vietnamese in Russia said: We have been surprised to see the attention and support of our community here in Moscow. This is only the first time. We believe there are still lots of talents in our community.

The contest has captured the attention of hundreds of young Vietnamese people in Russia for the past month and provided the chance for the community to meet up and bond together.
