Responding to Taiwan (China)'s live-fire exercise on Ba Bình (Itu Aba) Island, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Lê Thị Thu Hằng said that Taiwan (China)'s live-fire drills in the sea surrounding Ba Bình Island in Vietnam’s Trường Sa (Spratly) Archipelago seriously violated Vietnam's territorial sovereignty. She also stated that Vietnam objects and requests Taiwan China not to repeat similar actions.
In reply to press questions regarding the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture's announcement of the adjustments to the regulations, the spokeswoman said Vietnam objects and resolutely rejects China's unilateral decision to adjust regulations on a fishing break at sea, including some territorial waters of Vietnam.
