The Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation is a complex technique. It's known to have the fewest side effects and complications, especially for older patients and those with medical conditions, with recovery time at just 5-7 days.
Prof. Dr. Vo Thanh Nhan - Dean of the hospital's Cardiology Department was also recognised as the first specialist in Vietnam to utilise the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) technique. Since March 2017, the hospital has performed 31 TAVI operations with a success rate of 100%.
