Support for people in Northwest area

Head of the Northwest Steering Committee and Politburo member Nguyen Van Binh emphasised that the socio-economic development in the region was stable and people's lives had improved, while security was guaranteed.

Forecasting and responding to natural disasters at times, the party member said that the Northwest Steering Committee would improve its leadership, direction and co-ordination between the localities.

Helping people overcome the consequences of the recent floods was a major priority. The Northwest Steering Committee will gather recommendations from the provinces to report to the Politburo and the Central Committee to support the people to stabilise their lives in the long run.
