Looking at the developments in export turnover in recent months, signs of recovery are clear. In June, Vietnam’s seafood export turnover reached more than 767 million USD, down over 23% compared to last year.
But by August, the decrease had reduced to 15%; this was also the lowest negative growth rate in the past six months, and sales were much higher than in previous months.
With this momentum, the seafood industry could reach an export turnover of 10 billion USD this year.
