VTV.vn - Late world renowned President Ho Chi Minh is the research topic for many foreign academics.

His life and struggle in leading Vietnam's independence movement has been appraised in a considerable number of newspapers articles and books, including the book Ho Chi Minh: Bringer of Light.

French-Vietnamese writer Pierre Brocheux describes the 1919-1923 period of Nguyễn Ái Quốc, who later became President Ho Chi Minh: "He exposed his qualities and talents, and they were recognised by others. He was by no means dogmatic. His humour and sensitiveness made a deep impression in the memory of people who knew him in the 1920s. That also attracted people who spent time with him or meet him in daily life”.
Ho Chi Minh: Bringer of Light is a compilation of 61 articles by 21 foreign writers and 40 Vietnamese writers. They had the chance to meet, work with, or simply admire the late President.

The part written by US journalist Stanley Karnow was chosen as the first lines of the book: "With a slim body, thin beard, old clothes and worn out rubber sandals, Ho Chi Minh was seen as modest and friendly. He is a veteran revolutionist, an enthusiastic and loyal patriot who always fought for his ultimate goal, which is independence for his country".
The book Ho Chi Minh: Bringer of Light reiterated the love of Vietnamese people and international friends for President Ho Chi Minh.
